The much wanted up-gradation has been done by the Yamaha as it lunched it new THR-II series, guitar amps. It been three years since Yamaha has now launched it or upgrade it. On the other hand, in order to control the extreme noise, Yamaha’s THR line of “desktop” guitar amps aim to recreate rich, tube-like tones at practical volumes while also including advanced digital features. Besides that, it has 15 new sounds, wireless capability and Bluetooth as well.
The updated THR amps will come October and they will be available in 30-watt wireless for $499. And the price for 20-watt wireless is $449 and 20-watt wired $299.
Yamaha THR-II series
While, speaking of the updates, in addition to that, three modeled mic sounds for acoustic-electric guitars. The series also have three bass amp models and three flat voicing for use with other instruments. Besides that, coming to the tunes, the three THR-II models has 15 new amp tones, which are driven by Yamaha’s Virtual Circuitry Modeling. Like the original, there’s a choice of four modulation effects (chorus, flanger, phaser and tremolo), plus a quartet of delays/reverbs (echo, echo/rev, spring and hall).
Other than that, talking about the details, two of the three new amps include a built-in wireless receiver; plug the Line 6 Relay G10T transmitter as well. The new mobile app gives users the option to tweak settings and effects from across the room using Bluetooth, rather than plugging the amp into a USB port of a computer and using the desktop editor. Having said that, user can still plug the amp into your desktop or laptop for direct recording, since it also acts as an audio interface.
As far as the models are concern, the new THR-II wireless models include Bluetooth compatibility, a built-in wireless receiver. And they are compatible with a Line 6 Relay G10T transmitter -and a rechargeable battery with up to five hours of battery life. Well, the three models are available; the THR10II, THR10II Wireless and THR30II Wireless. The THR30II, unlike its counterparts, features two stereo 1/4” line outputs.
